Opening Day

I went to opening day at Fenway Park earlier this month... what a time! I have a 1/8 share of season tickets and was the lucky one to get this game.

The ring ceremony was cool, especially when long time Red Sox player Johnny Pesky was given a ring. Still gives me shivers just thinking about it.

The Yankee intros were amazing too; check out the video called Yankee Introductions and ffwd to the 2:25 minute mark for Randy Johnson and Mariano Rivera. I have even more respect for MR after seeing the way he handled the situation. All class.

On a related note... this graphic gives a breakdown of the cost for four to go to a baseball game - all the way from the Single A Lowell Spinners on up to the Red Sox at Fenway. I'm feeling poor all of a sudden.
